Group Bookings
Group Bookings of 10 delegates will receive 1 complimentary ticket for that booking (the equivalent of a 10% discount).

This will apply only to bookings of 10 or of multiples of 10. For example, a 20 delegate booking would receive 2 complimentary tickets; 30 would receive 3 and so on.

Group Bookings of any number in between will be rounded down to the nearest multiple of ten; for example a group booking of 15 would receive 1 complimentary ticket. Please contact the CILA team for more details at events@cila.co.uk.

Accomodation

We do not offer tickets with accommodation included but you can book with the onsite hotels here.

There are also numerous hotels in the surrounding area to the University. If you need any assistance getting a list of such hotels please contact the CILA Team using events@cila.co.uk


Booking Information

The Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters is a not for profit membership body for claims professionals. The hosting of an annual conference is intended to provide opportunities for the sharing of knowledge and experience, professional development and networking. The provision of a conference for members relies upon the generous support of CILA volunteers and sponsors.

  1. Registration and payment
    If you would like to attend the conference and/or the awards dinner you must register your place at least 48 hours prior to the event.  Registration can be completed online through the conference website or for group bookings and volunteers via the Institute team at events@cila.co.uk.

    Payment is required to confirm your booking and must be received no later than 48 hours prior to the event.

    You will receive confirmation of your booking by email.

  2. If you decide to cancel a booking for the conference and/or awards dinner
    If you decide to cancel your booking for the conference or your place at the awards dinner more than two weeks prior to the event you will receive a full refund for either purchase.

    If you cancel your booking for the conference within two weeks of the event date you will receive a refund minus a £20 administration fee.

    If you cancel your place at the awards dinner within two weeks of the event date you will receive a refund minus a £30 fee for venue costs incurred. 

    To cancel your place email events@cila.co.uk listing your full name and membership number (if applicable).

    All refunds will be returned to the card used for payment or the company who made payment on your behalf. If a company has paid on an attendee’s behalf they should request a refund from events@cila.co.uk with the attendee copied in.

  3. If you wish to transfer your booking to another member
    Instead of cancelling you may wish to transfer your booking for the conference and/or your place at the awards dinner to another person. You can do this by contacting the Institute team at events@cila.co.uk copying in the new attendee. There will be no charge for this service.

    Please notify us of any such changes as soon as they are known. Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that the new attendee’s name and personal details (such as dietary requirements) will be reflected at the event, this may not be possible in every circumstance.

  4. If you contract Covid-19 or any other notifiable disease
    Under no circumstances should you attend the conference if you are exhibiting Covid-19 symptoms, tested positive for Covid-19 or have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19 in the days immediately prior to the event.

    We expect delegates to follow government advice in relation to the spread of Covid-19 and self-isolation:

    If you have been exposed to or have contracted Covid-19 (or any other notifiable disease) and are unable to attend the event, your booking can be transferred to another person or refunded in full.

    Please Note: In the event you have to cancel your booking due to Covid-19 exposure or infection you may be asked to provide evidence of this to receive a full refund.
